Complete Success in the FIRST Simulation Invasive Procedures in Fetal Medicine Course with Dr. Guillermo Antiñolo at the San Javier Hospital in Guadalajara, Mexico

From FIRST Simulation, a leading company in specialized medical training, we are happy to announce the absolute success of the recent course on invasive procedures in fetal medicine, carried out in collaboration with Dr. Guillermo Antiñolo and doctors David Martínez Ceccopieri, Luis Fernando López Avalos, Sergio Fajardo Madrigal and José Juan Quilantan Cabrera.

Expert collaboration

The course was held at the prestigious San Javier Hospital in Guadalajara, Mexico, and had the outstanding participation of three gynecology specialist students, who successfully completed this high-level training.

The course was significantly enriched thanks to the key contribution of Dr. David Martínez Ceccopieri, who is the Head of the Fetal Surgery Program and Adjunct Professor in the specialty of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Nuevo Hospital Civil de Guadalajara Dr. Juan I. Menchaca. In addition, the participation of doctors Luis Fernando López Avalos, Sergio Fajardo Madrigal and José Juan Quilantan Cabrera, members of the Fetal Surgery and Therapy service of the same hospital, was essential. This team’s extensive experience and deep knowledge in the field contributed vitally to enriching both the content and delivery of the course.

This, added to the expert supervision by Dr. Guillermo Antiñolo, head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital and founding partner of FIRST, provided the highest quality.

Focus on key procedures

The course, focused on crucial procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic biopsy, was developed in a practical and realistic way thanks to one of the innovative simulators that FIRST brought to the training.
